Route The route will follow the Leelanau Trail. This is a flat course with several road crossings. View Map There will be volunteers at these crossings to provide safe crossings, however we do encourage you to take off your skis!! Especially if they are rentals!
Distances
There are three distances to select from:
8 km (5 miles), 5 km (3 miles), 3 km (2 miles)
Please indicate what distance you decide to do. This aids in our planning for busing, food and volunteers.
NOTE: If you are snowshoeing we suggest you do the 5 km and not the 8 km (unless you are trotting) so that you arrive within the finish time frame at Black Star Farms.
There are three aid stations along the route. There are no porta johns along the route.
Food
We try our best to plan out the food, and try not to run short, but sometimes if people get there late, we might be short some items. Food is on a first come first serve basis!
