We'll be starting the Tour in Traverse City at the Holiday Inn, and traveling via bus to different points along the wonderful Leelanau Trail to finish at Black Star Farms! The details are on the registration page!
After skiing, snowshoeing, or depending on mother nature-hiking to Black Star Farms you can enjoy local foods, wine and chocolate and enjoy Black Star Farms tasting room with your complimentary ticket before your trip back to the Holiday Inn by bus. Make sure to bring a bit of extra cash to treat yourself to a bottle of Black Star Farms award winning wine!
Be treated like a queen as men "man" the
course and serve you a selection of goodies at trail-side food stations. Making a difference in your communityThe Women's Winter Tour (in honor of Madeleine Thomas) weekend events benefit the local nonprofit Active Women Now, Inc., Madeleine's House and the Michigan Equine Foundation. For 15 years, the event has helped to raise over $70,000 for Madeleine's House and other local charities. We have no paid staff, and it is managed by volunteers and supported by your registration fees and sponsorships.The Women's Winter Tour are Trademarked events produced by Active Women Now, a volunteer, non profit organization, dedicated to helping women make healthy emotional and physical choices.
